Jackson Northwest beat Lansing Waverly, 21-6, Friday to improve to 2-5.
The Mounties did not throw the ball once but running back Jordan Piepkow rushed for 265 yards in front of the homecoming crowd.

Next week, Northwest heads to Withington Stadium to take on Jackson High.
The Vikings are 4-3 after losing Friday to Grand Ledge, 21-20. They must beat the Mounties if they hope to keep their playoff hopes alive.
