Friday's Northwest-Mason game will be the teams' 20th meeting

Friday's football game between Jackson Northwest and Mason will be the 20th meeting between the two schools.

It's a natural rivalry, given the proximity of the schools.

They first played in 1975. The Mounties won that game, 15-14. See Rivals archive for all of the scores.

As previously stated, though, the Bulldogs are very tough this year.

Massey Ratings is predicting a 41-17 Mason win.

Massey Ratings predicts Belleville win over Northwest

Massey Ratings is predicting Belleville will beat Northwest on Friday night, 32-26.

See the prediction here.

Massey has been pretty close predicting the scores of the past two Mountie games, although the outcomes haven't always been correct.

The computer has been accurate so far in predicting Belleville's two losses and one win.

Friday's game at Belleville will be the first meeting ever between the two schools.

Massey Ratings predicts a close game Friday against Owosso

Well, the Massey Ratings computer came close last week, predicting a 32-20 loss for the Mounties; the final score was 35-20.

The computer this week is calling for a 24-20 win over the Owosso Trojans. See prediction here.

If it is a four-point game, that'll be the closest margin in the brief history of these two teams squaring off. (The Mounties beat Owosso 35-6 last year and 35-14 in 2007. Rivals Archive here).
