St. Johns outscored the Mounties 21-0 in the third quarter Friday on its way to a 35-6 win, according to MLive.
"I thought we played pretty well in the first half," Northwest coach Eddie Cobb said. "Either we played well, or they played bad and came out and played better in the second half."
Trevor Boyk ran for 95 yards on 20 carries, giving him more than 1,000 yards rushing on the season.
Last week, Jackson High scored 10 points off of a pair of Mountie fumbles in the third quarter in its 1-point win over Northwest.
