Jackson High coach Jack Fairly said he knew Northwest coach Eddie Cobb would go for the 2-point conversion to try to win the game with 1:03 remaining Friday night, writes Mike Pryson of the Jackson Citizen-Patriot.
"You can't blame him," Fairly told Pryson. "He had just jammed the ball down our throat, and our kids just came up big."
