Jackson Northwest (4-2) will face a tough opponent in the Jackson Vikings Friday, Oct. 10, in the Mounties' final home game of the season.
The Vikings are 3-3, coming off a 21-7 victory over Okemos.
Jackson's three losses this year have been to Holt, East Lansing and Grand Ledge by margins of 7, 3 and 6 points, respectively.
The Mounties and the Vikings played last year for the first time in 20 years. Jackson High won a shootout, 55-35.
Look for another big game on Friday as both teams remain in the playoff hunt.
