Mason, the Mounties' opponent Friday, is ranked No. 8 in Division 3, according to the latest Michigan AP prep football poll.
Mason (3-1) is ranked one team ahead of Lansing Sexton, which beat the Mounties (3-1) last week.
Friday is homecoming at Mountie Stadium and Northwest beat Mason a year ago.
It should be a good game.
