The Mounties will play a tough team Friday in the Lansing Sexton Big Reds.
Sexton is 2-1 and will coming off a 17-14 loss to undefeated St. Johns.
Just as the Mounties won big in their first two games, so did Sexton, topping Holt, 48-7, in the season opener and beating Lansing Eastern, 32-14, in Week Two.
Sexton blanked Northwest last year, 26-0.
The Mounties will have their hands full Friday when they head to Lansing Sexton for their first road game of the season.
